OUR HISTORY
- 1898: The first shop set up in Delhi under the name of Kherati Lall & Sons
- Jewellers to the Governor General of India.
- Suppliers to The Maharajas and the Princely states of Udaipur, Punjab, Jodhpur, Mewar and Patiala.
- 1920: One of the earliest companies to cut and manufacture precious stones and export to England and France.
- Mr. J. L. Rakyan becomes one of the founding members of the Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion council of India, The premier body under the auspices of the commerce ministry to oversee the Jewellery trade in India.
- Remains Chairman of the council for a record seven years.
- The JPDC centre in New Delhi is named after Mr. J. L. Rakyan.
- 1970: The only jewellery company appointed by the Government of India to represent it in the EXPO’70 in Osaka, Japan.
- 1972: Opens Tokyo Office
- Present: Remains one of the oldest and most recognized Indian diamond companies in Tokyo.
